Knit a classic set-in sleeve jumper in a plush combination of Lilt and Whisper 8 ply.

Construction

Knit with two strands of yarn held together throughout. Knit in pieces from the bottom up, seamed, then picking up stitches to knit neckband in the round. Crew Neck with set-in sleeves. 

Tension

19 sts and 24 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 5.00mm needles and one strand each of Lilt and Whisper held together.

Suitable Yarns

This pattern has been written for a combination of Whisper 8 ply & Lilt held together. Other combinations of yarn may be used that can meet the same gauge, but the outcome will vary.

Accessories

1 pair each 4.00mm and 5.00mm knitting needles and a 4.00mm circular needle for neckband, or size needles to give correct tension, 2 stitch-holders.
